Alan and Amanda Parker (PARKERDANCE) are husband and wife who have been dancing together since 1980.

They were successful in their amateur career, winning many national titles in Old Time and Modern Sequence dancing and being ranked in the top 6 amateur couples in the 1990s.

More recently they were finalists in the British Professional Classical Sequence Championships.

They now run a successful dance school in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and still compete professionally in inventive dance competitions as well as teaching and demonstrating on P&O cruises.

Her expertise has earned her top rankings at the World and German Open championships, and today, she continues to share her talent globally, performing as a guest entertainer with Alex on international cruise ships.

His decorated career includes highlights such as being a World Junior 10 Dance semi-finalist, the Yorkshire Open Champion, and a two-time English Masters runner-up. Now an established elite competitor, Alex has secured top rankings at the World and German Open championships and is a consistent finalist in the British and UK Closed Professional Latin circuits.
