Contemporary Teacher Training

This brand new syllabus has been written by Miss Clare Palethorpe who is an expert in Contemporary Dance and has been an AQA Examination Board moderator for the GCSE dance syllabus from 2006 to present.

The course is open to non-members also.

The syllabus is graded from Grades 1 to 5 and then follows on into the Associate teaching qualification – AABD. This syllabus is accredited by the "Board of Dance Qualifications & Training (BDQT).

All work is now available on DVD.

This day will form part of three training days:

Day One – Grades 1,2,3   Day Two – Grades 4/5  Day Three – Preparation for Associate examination leading to the teaching qualification AABD in Contemporary. Dates to be arranged for days two and three will be set on day one so please bring your diary with you.

Times: 10am to 4pm – Bring water a packed lunch and a towel

Fee for the day: £55

CPD Points Awarded: 5 points

If you would like to attend, it is important that you book a place and pay a deposit of £55 with the ABD office ASAP as places are limited. You can also order a copy of the syllabus (Grades 1 to 3) from the ABD office – cost £10.
